1. Who we are
This policy is published by TSG Technology Pty Ltd (ACN 697 960 786) ("TSG Technology", "we", "us" or "our"), of Perth, Western Australia. TSG Technology Pty Ltd is corporate authorised representative 1321857 of Treasury Services Group Pty Ltd (ABN 89 123 878 384), the holder of Australian Financial Services Licence 315347 and Australian Credit Licence 315347.
We are bound by the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). Privacy enquiries should be directed to our Privacy Officer at [email protected].
2. What this policy covers
This policy applies to this website, www.tsgtechnology.com.au. It is a corporate information website. It has no accounts, no logins and no forms, and it does not ask you to submit any information.
The platforms we build and operate for clients handle personal and financial information under their own privacy terms and, where applicable, under the terms of the licensee or institution that operates them. This policy does not cover those platforms.
3. What we collect
Because this site has no forms, we do not collect personal information that you type into it. We may hold:
- Technical log data. Our content delivery and security providers record standard request data, including your IP address, the pages requested, the date and time, your browser type and your operating system. This is used to serve the site, keep it available and protect it from abuse.
- Correspondence. If you email us, we hold your email address and the content of your message, along with any information you choose to include in it.
We do not operate analytics, advertising, tracking or profiling tools on this site.
4. Why we collect it
We collect and use this information to deliver and maintain the website, to protect it against security threats and abuse, to respond to your enquiries, and to comply with our legal and regulatory obligations. If you choose not to give us your contact details, we may be unable to respond to an enquiry.
5. Cookies and third parties
TSG Technology does not set cookies on this website and does not use cookies to track you. Two third parties are involved in delivering the site:
- Cloudflare, which provides content delivery and security. It may set strictly necessary cookies for security and bot management purposes.
- Google Fonts, which serves the typefaces used on this site. Your browser requests those font files directly from Google, which means Google receives your IP address and browser information as part of that request.
You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Doing so will not prevent you from reading this site.
6. Who we disclose it to
We may disclose personal information to our hosting, content delivery and security providers, to our professional advisers where necessary to obtain legal or accounting advice, and to regulators or law enforcement where required by law. We do not sell, rent or trade personal information.
7. Overseas disclosure
The website's files are hosted in Australia, in the Amazon Web Services Sydney region (ap-southeast-2). However, our content delivery, security and font providers operate global networks, so technical log data such as your IP address may be processed on servers outside Australia. Where that occurs, we take reasonable steps to ensure the recipient handles the information consistently with APP 8.
8. How we protect it
This site is served entirely over encrypted HTTPS connections. It is a static website, with no application server and no database of personal information behind it, which materially limits what could be exposed. Email correspondence is held in access-controlled business systems.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. While we take reasonable steps to protect personal information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. How long we keep it
Technical log data is retained by our providers for a short period for security and operational purposes and is then deleted or aggregated. Email correspondence is retained for as long as necessary for the purpose for which it was sent, and to meet our record keeping obligations, after which it is destroyed or de-identified.
10. Accessing and correcting your information
Under APP 12 and APP 13 you may ask us for access to the personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it if it is inaccurate, out of date, incomplete, irrelevant or misleading. Write to our Privacy Officer at [email protected].
We will respond within 30 days. We may need to verify your identity first. Access is free, although we may charge for the reasonable cost of retrieving substantial records, and we will tell you before any cost is incurred. If we refuse access or correction, we will give you written reasons and explain how to complain.
11. Data breaches
If an eligible data breach occurs, we will notify affected individuals and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner as required by the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme under Part IIIC of the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
12. Complaints
If you believe we have breached the Australian Privacy Principles, contact our Privacy Officer at [email protected]. We will acknowledge your complaint within 7 days and aim to resolve it within 30 days.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au or on 1300 363 992.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always published on this page, with the date it was last updated shown above.
